JOHN KENNETH TURNER (1879-1948) was an American journalist, author, and socialist muckraker who, at the time of the Mexican Revolution, was working as a reporter for the Los Angeles Herald. To expose the oppression of Mexican peasants Turner went undercover and became a gun runner for the Mexican rebels.
