She then shows him a piece of equipment which she claims will transfer her mind into his body and his into hers and that's how he will be helping her out, by letting her borrow his body while he carries the baby to term. Not believing it will work he goes along with her eccentricity and the next thing he knows he wakes up in her body.

Upon waking he is shocked to find that the machine worked and wants to go back to his body, but after some coaxing by his employer he agrees to stay the course.

As time passes, he, now she, begins to bond with the unborn child and develops an attachment to it that she never expected. On top of that she and her employer begin to spend more time together and before she knows it, she is overwhelmed with feelings toward him that leave her unsettled.

This heart-warming story by Madison McCall is a stand-alone novelette that will leave you feeling good when you turn the last page.
