Tasha Hutton was born on August 6, 1985, in the tropical island of Jamaica. Tasha and her family migrated to the United States of America in 1998 to Brooklyn, New York. At the tender age of six years old, Tasha had a passion for singing when she sang "Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston at her kindergarten graduation. One of the most pivotal moment of her life was when she surrendered her life to God, which convinced her to redirect her passion for singing only secular to gospel music. Tasha was a faithful member of New Life Tabernacle in Brooklyn, New York, from 2006-2016. She served under the leadership of Michael A. Mitchell who was the pastor and bishop of the church. Tasha was a praise and worship leader, and she was also a lead vocalist. Tasha has served in various ministries such as the mass choir, ladies ministry as the assistant director. She was also a Sunday school teacher for toddlers and primary and a young adult assistant director. Tasha had demonstrated the discipline, faithfulness, and commitment that were essential for success in ministry. In 2013 Tasha heard another call from the Lord to write and to become an author. In 2014 with much prayer, she answered the call to become a scribe and pursued writing, and like most believers, Tasha has faced trials and tribulations and setbacks, but her faith in God has anchored her through it all. And God has given her the will to fight and contend for the abundant life, and he has graced her with a positive spirit and he has given her grace for the journey. At the end of 2016, Tasha relocated to New Jersey, and Tasha was a member for a short period of time at Shiloh Pentecostal Love and Fellowship Center in Somerville, New Jersey, under the leadership of Sidney Webster, where she was an active choir member and praise and worship member. Tasha could also be found assisting in various ministries that help build the body of Christ. Tasha is now an active member of Abundant Life Family Worship Center in New Brunswick under the leadership of Bishop George Searight and co-pastor/first lady Mary Searight. Tasha is also the CEO and founder of a faith-based T-shirt line Be positive clothing and Be positive candles design for home décor. The mission statement is to encourage women of faith to fight the good fight of faith together and not against each other. Tasha is determined to live a purpose-filled life and complete her assignments in the marketplace and in the kingdom of God.
