Harriet Ziefert is the author of over 200 books for young readers. A Smith College graduate, she also has a master's degree in education from New York University. She is founder of her own publishing company, Blue Apple Books & Blue Cat Books. A mother of two and grandmother of five, she lives in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
Brian Fitzgerald is an internationally recognized, award-winning illustrator of children's books. He is a graduate of Ireland's National College of Art and Design and has also worked on publishing, editorial, and design projects. Brian lives and works in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin.
