Russ Willms has always had a passion for art and fun. His work as an illustrator has been featured in hundreds of magazines, books, and ad campaigns throughout the world. Russ brings his humor to several picture books as both author and illustrator, including Elephants Do Not Belong in Trees (Orca Books, 2021) and Quiet, Please! (Orca Books, 2022). He created, wrote, and illustrated the app Zooper ABC Animals, and his work has won a Parents' Choice Award, a Mr. Christie Book Gold Award, and a Governor General Awards finalist rank. Russ lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
