G. Elizabeth Kretchmer is the author of The Damnable Legacy, Women on the Brink, and Bear Medicine. Her short work has appeared in The New York Times as well as various anthologies and other publications. She holds an MFA in Writing from Pacific University and a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and is a member of various organizations including the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. When she's not writing, she's facilitating wellness-writing workshops, advocating for the environment, or working on her organic farm in the Pacific Northwest.
