Tommaso Pincio is the Thomas Pynchon-inspired nome d'arte of Marco Colapietro, Italian writer and portraitist. His third novel, Love-Shaped Story, was published in English by HarperCollins in 2004. Beat Space is his second novel.

Acacia M. O'Connor is a writer and translator based in New York. A graduate of Vassar College, she holds a MA in Literary Translation Studies from the University of Rochester.
