What we call "Savvopoulos" does not exist. Savvopoulos is a role that I slowly created over the years: The guy with the round glasses, the braces, and later the beard, who goes on stage, makes these songs, makes comments and tells stories. He is "Savvos", as the late Tasos Falireas called him. He is someone else. I am myself. I often get lost in that other person. He is mine. Without me, he would be a flying mess. But now I need him, because I have grown old and I would like to see how I was as a kid, how I behaved in my professional life, how I was as a husband, father and grandfather, and even how I was as a citizen, as a friend and son. Savvos is good at these things. He has them. As a role, he was a major hit and has experience. Now the role will speak for its creator. It is a game. A trick. I hope you find it entertaining.
