Born in a small city in Romania in 1955, Eleonora Georgeta Bulz grew up spending her holidays visiting her grandparents in a small village at the base of a mountain. She enjoyed the freedom of roaming the hills, mountains, and forests close by and spent lots of time connected to nature. She worked as head of reception and then manageress in a hotel and thereafter became a care assistant in a nursing home. After the revolution in Romania in 1989, Bulz was driven by her passion and started an animal charity. Bulz is divorced and currently resides in the UK. Her hobbies include saving animals and writing books, where she draws from her experiences of living in Romania.
