Peter Bowles is a veteran of stage and screen who has been critically acclaimed for his many memorableperformances; including his deeply moving portrayal of Crocker Harris in Peter Hall's recent production of TheBrowning Version, his West End success in Moliere's The School for Wives, his terrifying portrayal of an East End gangster in Gangster No. 1. and most recently his lead role in The Rivals at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket in 2011. He became a household name after his portrayal of businessman Richard DeVere in the BBC series To the ManorBorn, as also starred in such iconic shows such as The Avengers, The Prisoner and The Irish R.M
