Autorenporträt
I live in Aveyron, France, with my husband Tom. We have lived here since October 2012 and have created our own home from a very old building that once had pigs living on the ground floor! Our aim is to live a simple, but comfortable life. This is partly because it is the way we enjoy living but also to provide an example of a different way of living that is hopefully a positive one!

I am passionate about the environment and very concerned about the harm we are causing to our planet. I believe we are at a point in history where we have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the future of the world and feel optimistic that it is possible for this to happen if enough people want it to.

I am also concerned about the effect modern living and expectations have on people's happiness and their ability to be creative and to fully participate in life. One of the things that motivates me to write is to try and improve the planet and the lives of those who live on it.

I co-created 'The One Course' - helping people to 'Love life and find their purpose', with my husband Tom. We can tailor the delivery of this course to suit different people, situations and environments and I am currently working on a One Course book to enable the material to be accessible to people living in situations which make it difficult or impossible for them to take part in a conventional style course. I have a YouTube channel which is an honest account of my /our life here and encouragement for living happily during these challenging times! You can find me at:
