Beth and Sally run a horse ranch together. Judy is a famous painter. Beth is a published romance author. Ben and Samantha are successful programmers. Sara owns and runs Triplets Water Gardens. They now have three girls and three boys.

Judy and Beth live in a large mansion. Sally and Samantha live in the original house and Sara has a house at Triplets Water Gardens. Ben takes turns staying at each house.

Although there are some sex scenes, this novel is mainly about the family's adventures. They decide to go back to the Island where they had stayed before the children came along.

While on the island, a meteor crashes into the ocean causing the island to flood. The entire family retreats to the house on a mountain. When the water retreats, they find a portal in a cave that opens to parallel worlds. So they have adventures on the parallel worlds and rescue some fairy like people from pirates. The kids also save some baby dinosaurs on another parallel world.

This novel has lots of adventure and suspense. This is the fourth and final erotic romance novel in the Hawkins Family series.
