Eddie finds conflict with their weed dealer, who lives in his old house and looks down on Eddie and his family. Things come to a head one night when Eddie gets into a fist fight with the dealer and William is found by Jennifer while kissing Matt at a party. Eddie and William reunite and discover they might have feelings for each other. Through their new weed dealer, who turns out to be a non-binary icon in the local queer community, William and Eddie find new friends who are supportive, and they form a small circle of friends, something William has always wanted.
