On November 9, 1981 I got a phone call at my office.

"Hi, Rick, this is Bernie. I am sorry to tell you that your father passed away on the eighteenth hole of the Schenely Golf Course. He hit a shot off the fairway. I said 'Good shot Beni'

He keeled over and died."

My father got his wish and died on the golf course. He came back to me in a series of dreams to tell me his life's story. Surprisingly enough this Deli owners life was action- packed and full of adventures.
