Autorenporträt

I have been writing and illustrating picture books for over 30 years. The primary purpose of these efforts is to entertain and at times offer some insight into human nature gleaned from my life experiences. I grew up in Sharpsville, a small steel town in western PA., went to the University of Pittsburgh where I obtained a degree in biology, then attended Temple Univ. Dental School and upon graduating served 2 years in the Public Health Service in Elizabeth, W.VA., where I helped set up a dental clinic. I took over Dr. Nelson Robbins' dental practice in Ocean City, NJ and practiced dentistry there for 36 years. I retired in 2016 and am now concentrating on my picture/story books. One of my main goals is to make each book as enjoyable for the parent or guardian as it is for the child. A book you will enjoy reading along with your child/charge.
