Autorenporträt
Der Autor Gottfried Schröter wurde 1940 in der deutschen Kleinstadt Penig geboren. Zunächst absolvierte er eine Ausbildung als Rundfunkmechaniker und studierte nach seinem Abitur an der TU Dresden. Er arbeitete unter anderem als Entwicklungsingenieur und im Ministerium für Elektrotechnik. Nach einer Zeit der beruflichen Umorientierung wurde er Reiseleiter beim Tourismusverein Köpenick. Seit 2005 ist Schröter in Pension und hat somit noch mehr Zeit, sich der Geschichte und Gegenwart von Berlin zu widmen. Seine umfangreichen Aufzeichnungen sowie seine Leidenschaft für die Fotografie inspirierten ihn dazu, sein Wissen zu Papier zu bringen. Daher ist sein erstes Buch ¿Berlin ¿ ick liebe dir¿ entstanden. Schröter lebt mit seiner Frau in Berlin und hat zwei Kinder.
