As I pondered my thoughts one day, I asked myself, "Will I ever know what would've become of what I did not venture?" The concept of an earthworm traveling across the globe and correlating those ventures into real life and lessons to be learned from them was real to me, and I knew I had to write these books. I live in Chesapeake, Virginia, with my dog, Bruno. He inspires me and is always faithful by my side. I have three grown children, and at this writing, have three grandchildren. My son, Paul, is an artist, and his rendering of Bernie and his journeys is cheerful and adorable for all ages. Everyone will want to see where Bernie's journey will take him next.
