Beside the Universe is a trilogy from three previous titles: Beyond the Benign, Aside from Infinity, and Across the Cosmos. These mostly science fiction short stories have been partially re-written, and in some cases amplified for clarity or to better convey their content. A few new stories have also been added to replace those deemed of less interest.
