"What lies behind us, and what lies ahead of us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
What happens when you look in the mirror when you have a day that is such a day that you can't move past it? Then there are those moments you cling to, through slippery child-like fingers, in childhood and long after, that you don't ever want to move past.
This is a book of my moments, on my walk, from when I was a teenager through something I laughingly refer to as adulthood. Like memories, some are exactly as they were- word for word- the day they were put to paper 20 years ago. Like dreams, some of them have been shaped into watercolors, through the reflection of a mirror, or tears. I choose to share them in the hope that we can laugh and cry and enjoy them together.
