This is a book to help you move beyond the 'comfort bubble'. It uses my personal journey, the science and my quest for answers with helpful exercises, to make sense of discomfort and dare you and those around you to push a bit further into the things that matter most. Basking in the highly desirable state of comfort-dependency, so many of us build a life that functions on autopilot, driven by our basic needs of safety, connection, love and maintaining the status quo. It is great to feel good but we can all improve our chances for success and happiness through increasing discomfort, however challenging it may seem. By understanding unpredictability, accepting uncertainty, and training ourselves to accept a certain amount of discomfort throughout our experiences, we can think better, solve problems creatively, daring to embark on new ventures, visit new places, and try new things that can lead to growth and greater reward.
