Greg Stone fills the pages of his books with reflections on peace, salvation, freedom, knowledge, healing, and love, in the hope that such reflections prove valuable to others on their spiritual journey. His works include both fiction and non-fiction that focus on the theme of faith-based reconciliation. In the classic peacemaking manual, Taming the Wolf: Peace through Faith, he integrated techniques of contemporary court-based mediation with the peacemaking legacy of St. Francis of Assisi. Stone also authored Preparing for Mediation: A Practical Guide for disputing parties, attorneys, and law students. The guide presents a protocol that enhances readers' ability to resolve conflict--the goal in all his writing. After working in commercial mediation, Stone refocused his peacemaking efforts, serving faith communities--dioceses, parishes, schools, and religious orders. He strengthened his conviction that enduring peace rests on a spiritual foundation. With this in mind, he wrote The Secrets of Peacemaking, which unearths the core principles that make peace possible. Stone believes peacemakers must come to know the true nature of man--the true essence of the parties at the table.
