The goal of this book is to assist busy people in reading the Bible book by book and understanding what it says. The aim is not mere reading for the sake of reading or as a discipline. Autorenporträt
Henri Nouwen said: "The great illusion of leadership is to think that man can be led out of the desert by someone who has never been there." (The Wounded Healer) Anthony has journeyed extensively in that desert. He is, like Nouwen, a wounded healer, well equipped to assist others on their spiritual journey. Anthony, known affectionately to many as Pastor Tony, is a freelance writer, blogger and Christian theologian, a member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. He holds an MA in Religion and Counseling from Liberty University and an MDiv from Bethel University Seminary of the East. After serving as a Benefits Representative with the Social Security Administration for 16 years he entered the ministry. Over the last 25 years he has served as an associate Pastor in two different churches, worked in Seminary Administration, directed a nonprofit Bible Study ministry and completed four units of Chaplaincy (CPE) in a large suburban hospital. He was born in Brooklyn NY and lived most of his life there but now resides in Plainview, NY with his wife Terri
