Autorenporträt
Roman Malek S.V.D. (1951-2019), compiler of the present work, was a Sinologist (Ph.D. and postdoctoral thesis, University of Bonn) and an expert of religions in China, in particular Daoism and Christianity. He held the positions of Director and Editor-in-chief of the Monumenta Serica Institute, Sankt Augustin, Germany, an academic institution maintained by the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). Through the publications under his editorship from 1992 to 2012- he made a substantial and lasting contribution to the the history of Christianity in China. Barbara Hoster, editor of the present work, is a Sinologist (Ph.D., University of Bonn) and Editor at the Monumenta Serica Institute, Sankt Augustin, Germany. Dirk Kuhlmann, editor of the present work, is a Sinologist (Ph.D., University of Trier) and Editor at the Monumenta Serica Institute, Sankt Augustin, Germany. Zbigniew Wesöowski S.V.D., editor of the present work, is a Sinologist (Ph.D., University of Bonn) and holds the positions of Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Monumenta Serica Institute. He was a Professor of Sinology and Science of Religions at the Philosophical-Theological Faculty S.V.D. St. Augustin, Germany.
