Autorenporträt
Charles Peters was born near Hartley, Iowa. His young childhood was filled with colorful events. Some actions and events he had no control over, they just happened. He spent a short period of time at an orphanage before being adopted by foster parents when he was 11 years old. He grew up in northwest Iowa graduating from the Lytton Consolidated School. After a career of working, first in the dairy industry then working for a major hydraulic manufacturer he retired in 1998 and currently lives with his wife of over fifty two plus years in Spencer, Iowa. Living in a scenic nature area for the past 30 years has enabled him to enjoy nature's beauty and wild life. In his back yard, he has seen wild animals such as deer, raccoon, fox, and coyote and wild birds such as turkeys, ducks, geese, and a barn owl. The works of nature can be thrilling and soothing at the same time. He has been influenced by nature's beauty for years. Most days you will find him at home working on his next book.
