Dr. Rena is an avid researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the research and development industry. She is pursuing her Ph.D. from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR)/ (CSIR- National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI, India)-RMIT University (Australia) under Joint Coutelle Ph.D. Program. She has worked on several national and international projects related to solid waste management, biofuels, and sustainable development. She has also worked as a senior research fellow on the CSIR-NEERI, India and Korean Energy Technology Evaluation Planning (KETEP, Korea) project which dealt with Bio-HCNG from agricultural by-products for the transport fuel market in developing countries. Her areas of specialization are hydrogen energy, renewable energy, waste management, climate change, circular economy, and sustainable development. She has published numerous reviews and research papers in high-impact journals based on her areas of expertise. Dr. Sunil Kumar is Senior Principal Scientist and Head Waste Re-processing Division at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI, India). He has more than 22 years of experience in the field of environmental engineering with emphasis on waste management and associated energy aspects. Dr. Kumar is also a senior Humboldt Senior Fellow. He has handled many national and international projects. Dr. Kumar has received numerous awards and honours based on his expertise. He has published more than 300 research and review papers in the field of waste management. He has more than 11252 citations and his i10 index is more than 201.
