Autorenporträt
Yongmei Zheng is a professor at the Key Laboratory of Bio-Inspired Smart Interfacial Science and Technology of Ministry of Education, School of Chemistry, Beihang University, PR China. Her research is focused on bioinspired surfaces of fog-harvesting, water repellency, and anti-icing/icephobicity. She has authored or coauthored more than 140 SCI papers in journals of international repute as well as a few books on her area of research. Her work as a scientist was highlighted on the News of Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemistry World, in 2014. She is a senior member of the Chinese Composite Materials Society, Chinese Chemistry Society, American Chemistry Society, International Society of Bionic Engineering (ISBE), and International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM). Dr Zheng is also a fellow member of the NANOSMAT Society and an editorial board member of Scientific Reports. She has won an ISBE outstanding contribution award in 2016 in Ningbo, China and an IAAM Medal in 2016 in Sweden for her notable and outstanding contribution in the field of "Advanced Materials Science and Technology."
