It does warn of a not so bright future for anyone who won't accept the love God offers, and we must be willing to warn them. Mainly, though; it is a book of praise and worship. Birth Pangs, Not Death Throes is a conversation on the Revelation given to John by Jesus through the angel. The author explores the picture of Yeshu (Jesus) we are given in the first chapter. The signs are all instruments of worship, so they are all explored in this book. The poetry and cadence of the book are also an impetus for worship, so they are explored as well.The purpose of this book is to bring the reader to a closer and more worshipful fellowship with the Master.

Autorenporträt

Allison Kohn is a 75 year old ordained Presbyterian elder who has worked with both children (of all ages) and adults to help them with their Christian walk. She has published 11 books - five of them in the Baker family Saga. Since her example, Jesus, used stories to teach truth, she does the same. Everyone wants to be entertained and a good book teaches in an entertaining way, just as a good sermon preaches in an entertaining way. The author has a lot of experience with people and how they react to the ups and downs of life and she puts it to work in her writing.
