Autorenporträt

Carlotta Libert wurde 1979 in einer Kleinstadt in Mitteldeutschland geboren. Nach einigen Semestern Studium des Grundschullehramts und einem anschließenden Bachelorstudium der Sozialpädagogik arbeitete sie viele Jahre als pädagogische Mitarbeiterin an Grundschulen. Fünfzehn Jahre lang lebte sie mit ihrem Ex-Mann zusammen, der sie jahrelang physisch und psychisch missbrauchte - eine Zeit, die sie in ihrem Buch aufarbeitet. Heute lebt sie mit ihrem jetzigen Ehemann und ihren beiden jüngeren Söhnen zusammen. Sie arbeitet an einer integrierten Gesamtschule und genießt ein ruhiges Leben.
