Kathy Casimir MacLean was born in Dominica and lives in London where she has had a career in education for many years. She maintains close links with Dominica and is passionate about its history and culture. She is currently chair of the UK-based charity, Dominica Secondary School Supporters Association (DASSSA). 'Black Man Listen' is her first book.
