Autorenporträt

Dr. Jones received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Sociology from Arizona State University and his Ph.D. in Sociology from Vanderbilt University. He taught Sociology at Tennessee State University for 20 years and served as the Head of the Department of Sociology. The Governor of Tennessee appointed him to be the Director of the State agency, the Institute of African Affairs, which focused on economic ties with Africa. This position allowed him to tour numerous African countries, including Ghana and Nigeria.
