"Blessed" is a series of short stories about my spiritual journey. At the age of five, I was struck by a lightning bolt inside my home. That lightning bolt sent me on a journey to heaven and hell. In hell, I battled fear and encountered demons. In heaven, I met Jesus and was overwhelmed by joy. This experience opened up a supernatural and spiritual door, where I have encountered God, saints, and angels. It is my wish that by reading my stories, you will encounter God in a fresh and exciting way. May you find peace and be blessed as you travel along your spiritual path.

About the Author Blessed A Spiritual Journey is Eva's debut novella and she prays that it will help others to find peace and joy on their life's journey. She is also working on a collection of children's books entitled The Adventures of Finn McDougal, which is about a five- year-old boy who lives with his eight siblings in New Orleans and goes on various escapades throughout the city. When she isn't writing, Eva loves to travel, design whimsical jewelry, and sing. She lives in New Orleans with her hubby, three grown children, and three mischievous cats. About the Illustrator Madeleine Earls is the daughter of the author of Blessed. She received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University. She went on to obtain her master's degree at LSU New Orleans Physician Assistant Program. She now works as a PA in hospital medicine in New Orleans. She recently married her long-term partner, Evan. In her spare time, she loves to paint, spend time with family and friends, and play with her dog, Thor.
