There were two young friends in Seoul who were from the same town and attending the same college. Although they were good friends, one was an extremely good-looking man while the other was ugliness itself. Almost naturally, the former had a favorable opinion of women and and was a staunch supporter for women's education. The latter avoided all topics related to women. One day, there was a big concert in the downtown, where many girl students and women would participate. The handsome boy arduously persuaded his mate to go to the concert. He bought the first-rate tickets for his less fortunate friend. His almost only purpose was to see the pretty girls there and then pick up some attractive girl if he got lucky. Once in the concert hall, the dandy was soon preoccupied with making eyes at the girls one by one. But the real fun happened to the homely man when he was on the way to the restroom. An unknown girl played a blind man's buff to him under the dark staircase leading to the washroom. But she obviously mistook him for her boyfriend. After the concert was over, neither the handsome man nor the ugly beast picked up a girl. When the dandy man was frustrated, the ugly one boasted about what had happened to him under the staircase. The homely man was all smile while he recounted the event. But then, the gorgeous boy had an ingenious idea for his good friend.
