Unfortunately, what I didn't know is that my accusation was actually true and as she burnt at the stake she cursed me with her dying breath sending me straight to Hell, which for fallen priests was certainly no holiday camp!

Ten years later with a demon attached to his soul, Jonah Spenser is finally ejected from Hell to wander the world as a broken man until he comes to the attention of "The Priory", an organisation created to counter the threat of the supernatural. For over three centuries his hell-born appendage gives him a unique insight into a shadowy world until a mission goes wrong and he is cast aside. Now Jonah is back and tasked with searching for a lost manuscript that may be the key to a war that has raged since civilization began. The only problem is he's not the only one looking and Jonah is forced to deal with vampires, werewolves as well as his psychotic witch ex-lover who still holds a grudge and who has returned from the dead with vengeance in mind.

All in all, just another abnormal day.

At just over 117,000 words, this book is a fast paced urban fantasy based in present day London and may contain strange creatures, action, adventure, humor, a dwarf and a talking cat.
