Christina Surdhar is a freelance writer with a special interest in history and heritage. She is a regular contributor to "Yorkshire Ridings Magazine" and a web editor at the National Trust's Beningbrough Hall. Christina has an Honours degree in Language and Linguistics from the University of York and she lives in a village on the outskirts of the city. This is her first book for The History Press.
