Autorenporträt
Raised in the West Jefferson coal mining country of Alabama, Coach Fred Riley was the first college graduate of his family. He was an All-Conference quarterback and team captain at the University of North Alabama, leading the Lions to their first conference title in 1980. His coaching career has spanned five decades including multiple college and high school stops. Riley's 110-50 record at Davidson High School in Mobile, Alabama, makes him their all-time winningest coach and places him fourth on the all-time Mobile County Public Schools list. Coach Riley and his wife Susan own and operate the Fairhope Storm football franchise, a ministry founded to impact young men and help them become better husbands, fathers and contributors to their respective communities. They are blessed with five wonderful children, three great sons-in-law and three awesome grandchildren (so far!).
