This book explores the productive effects of bodily ›failure‹ in the sphere of visuality. Jules Sturm (PhD) is assistant professor of Literary Studies and Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam. His research interests are critical theories of the body in the fields of queer and disability studies, and posthuman theories.
