The distinguished writer and translator, Habib Jamati, translated this historical story into Arabic, and one of the most striking opinions expressed by some French historians who excelled in defending it was the opinion that the French campaign against Egypt was not a "colonial" adventure, but rather a "scientific" project that Bonaparte achieved by force of arms. This is a wrong opinion; The campaign was colonialism above all else, even if it was coupled with science, it produced significant results.
