Author Arlene S. Bice arrived in Bordentown in 1972. A local bookseller, she writes occasional articles and a book-review column for the Register-News. She is a lifetime member of the Bordentown Historical Society, charter member and past president of the Bordentown chapter of the Thomas Paine National Historical Association, a member of the Central Jersey Genealogical Club, past president of the Downtown Bordentown Association, and a member of the International Women's Writing Guild.
