BRAND NEW YOU IN CHRIST, urges a Christian to embrace, grow and move forward in the brand new identity in Christ Jesus in the marketplace. A brand identifies with its maker in the marketplace. Likewise, a Christian's life must identify with its maker - Lord Jesus Christ. Don't worry if you do not see immediate results of becoming a born again Christian. We don't see what is happening to the caterpillar inside the cocoon. We see the end result of the butterfly. Just as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, a believer's life is changed by the Holy Spirit to reveal something brand new!

The book is written in three sections.

Section 1: This section sets the foundation for a brand new you in Christ supported by scriptures. I have also, penned down my personal testimony in this section.

Section 2: This section elaborates our brand new identity as given to us by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. For practicality, I have used marketing and branding principles to explain the essence of the brand new you in Christ.

Section 3: This section encourages the believers to depend on the Word of God, to live and progress in the brand new life in Christ. I have highlighted key scriptures with practical insight to encourage the believers to strengthen their walk as authentic lights that shine for Jesus Christ in the marketplace.

CHANDRIKA MAELGE seeks to bring to life gospel teachings through ART & WORDS. Dreams and visions of a personal walk with Lord Jesus Christ are often represented in her art. Chandrika did not go to an art school. It was a hobby she enjoyed. Candle heated and melted oil pastels with acrylic paint is her signature

technique in creating art without a sketch. As a Creative Consultant, she has seen the completion of many unique coffee table books across varied industries in Sri Lanka.

In 2011, Chandrika received a prophecy that she will hear from God through dreams and visions. She was a Buddhist at that time. In June 2012 Chandrika began to draw again. With it saw the first series of large format drawings in 2012; 'DIVINE UNIVERSE'. In 2017, Chandrika unveiled her first solo exhibition; 'THE JOURNEY OF

FAITH: RESPONDING TO GOD'S CALLING,' a personal testimony in art and words. The 18 works of art and narrated story was completed within 40 days, covering a period of seven years (2011 - 2017). In 2018 Chandrika curated her first multi medium creative exhibition 'LET THERE BE LIGHT' a creative expression in art, photography, film & words. BRAND NEW YOU IN CHRIST is her first publication.

She holds a Second Class Honors B.Sc. Degree in Applied Sciences, specialising in Forestry and Environmental Sciences, from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. She balances her time between various assignments, consultancies, art, writing, gardening and family. She can be contacted on;
