Brass Hearts is a Cinderella-esque type story. It is a sweet, old fashioned romance, complete with bad impressions, lies, misunderstandings and social divide.

This light steampunk, it does not focus on tech and gadgetry or air pirates and there are no weapons ever fired in the book. The characters live in a steam powered world that is a mix of Victorian, Early 1900's, Modern day and futuristic.
