Sara Langworthy, PhD, currently serves as policy coordinator for Extension Children, Youth, and Family Consortium at the University of Minnesota. After receiving her PhD from the University of Minnesota Institute of Child Development, she has become an expert in brain development research and research translation for public consumption. Her expertise led her to serve as a content expert for Wonder Years: The Science of Early Childhood, now a permanent exhibit at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Sara continues to focus on her interest in developing creative ways of bridging the gap between the worlds of research, practice, and policy to create an open discussion on early childhood development and education.
