This book presents a group of readings of Moroccan fictional works, varying in the dates of their publication, their methods of narration, and their capture of details that refer to the self and society, in a way that constitutes a fictional world for him, and in a way that makes this world shaped in a fictional formulation based on building forms and celebrating the aesthetics of writing and the aesthetics of creativity. What unites the novels analyzed in this book, despite their differences and their different styles of novel writing and their different methods of constructing the novel world, is that they meet in the obsession of modernizing novel writing, and with this obsession they move towards a modern novelist discourse that seeks to work on the strategy of forms. What seems essential to this reading is that the fictional works analyzed in this book engage in practices that have their own peculiarities in writing. They are novels that can only be described as having engaged in the adventure of writing, and where this adventure leads to experimentation. Experimentation here is not a literary recklessness that starts from a vacuum, but rather it is a scientific experimentation through its rejection of imitation on the one hand, and in its construction of forms that overlap with the subjects and each of them dissolves into the other.
