The author shares her journey into darkness and then her return to brighter days. She had a close relationship with God, her goals were met, and prayers usually answered. Then all of that changed and her life was thrown into depression and thoughts of suicide. She was saved by the Voice of God, and he gave her peace and hope for the future. God remained with her through cancer and times of disappointment, sorrow and despair. He never abandoned her even when she lost faith in Him. God spoke to her, gave her songs of encouragement and sent her butterflies during the dark storms in her life. We all meet hardships, disappointments and losses in our lives. The author wants to share her story so that others might find peace, comfort, and encouragement when their personal storms never seem to end. Her prayer is that God will also turn their sorrows into joy.
