Autorenporträt

Katie Kincaid was born and raised on a small Midwest farm where the family lived each day valuing faith, family and farming. This firm foundation enabled her to follow Jesus Christ as He led her down many different roads away from the farm. Throughout her journey, she has enjoyed many opportunities to work within the legal field and then into a career within a multi-college system wherein she served as the Assistant Director to the Library services then progressed into the position of Associate Dean. During her time as Associate Dean, she enjoyed being a curriculum program coordinator, a business and industry coordinator to the educational programs as well as being a student counselor to non-traditional students.
Then the roads led back to the farm life wherein Katie enjoys working with the family on the farm and serving as a Deaconess at her local church. Katie is honored to be the sixth generation in her family to attend and serve at her home church. Katie has known her share of hardships by being a caregiver for more than thirty years and losing two husbands to pancreatic cancer. The journeys that were taken during those times were deep lessons in what it means to live by faith in Jesus Christ. But she also knows what showers of blessings from her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, look like as she enjoys her new beginning with her husband and the blessing of family that surrounds her to this day.
