Autorenporträt
Armen R. Vartian and has been working in the art and collectibles industry since 1984. He founded the Law Offices of Armen R. Vartian in 1991; the law firm concentrates in the areas of art and collectibles law, and has represented dealers, auction houses, collectors, investors, museums, artists, and institutions from throughout the U.S. and abroad. Vartian contributed a bi-monthly column discussing legal considerations in the numismatic publication Coin World for over 20 years, and also contributed articles about the luxury art and collectibles markets for Fortune China. He is a Vice Chair of the ABA Art & Cultural Heritage Law Committee, and is the Editor of, and a frequent contributor to, the Committee's Newsletter. Vartian graduated from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York in 1978, and Harvard Law School in 1981. Mr. Vartian is a member of the New York, Illinois, and California bars, and is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, and numerous federal circuit and district courts nationwide.
