I am a mother of four sons, all grown now. I began writing poetry in 2005 while going through life challenges with my sons who were teenagers at that time. I was searching for answers during thestorms of life. Writing became an outlet for me and a way to vent my pains.I reside in Stockton California and have not taken any formal writing classes. I learned from other poets and the Lord.My first book was called "Expressions from the Heart" that was self published and later publish America asked for my manuscript. So, I changed the name to "Healing Through Poetry" as directed by theLord.I now have fourteen books in print that are available for your reading enjoyment.My last six are also in hardcover.
