Cox has written for The Disney Channel, published a monthly scriptwriting newsletter, and co-authored (with Jurgen Wolff) two books on scriptwriting: Successful Scriptwriting and Top Secrets: Screenwriting. He also wrote an instructional manual on copywriting, How to Write Faster Than Anyone Better, and Better Than Anyone Faster. In the Nick Tanner crime thriller series, Kerry hopes to raise awareness of the worldwide scourge of wildlife trafficking. When he's not writing, he serves as a wildlife and marine mammal rescue volunteer. He lives on California's Central Coast, along with his wife and too many cats.
