Autorenporträt
Hatem Soliman Aboumarie is a consultant in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care at Harefield Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals in London, UK. He's an honorary senior lecturer in the school of cardiovascular sciences and medicine at King's College London where he teaches point of care ultrasound. He's a member of the board and Councillor for Echocardiography at the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging of the European Society of Cardiology. He's a recognized expert in critical care echocardiography and delivered many invited lectures, webinars, workshops and symposia around the world. Marcelo Haertel Miglioranza works at the Institute of Cardiology, University Foundation of Cardiology in Brazil. His special interests are in cardiology/echocardiographer and  advanced cardiovascular imaging, point-of-care echo and clinical validation of new technologies. He is  also a Professor at the post-graduation program and leader of a research group in Cardiovascular Imaging and Innovation. Luna Gargani has been trained at the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the National Research Council of Italy. She works at University of Pisa as a cardiologist and clinical researcher in the field of cardiovascular imaging and point-of-care echocardiography. She is a recognized expert in lung ultrasound and echocardiography. Giovanni Volpicelli is an emergency physician at the Emergency Department of San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital, Torino, Italy. He was the Chair of the Scientific Committee of the 1st International Consensus Conference on Lung Ultrasound and he is Member of the Scientific Committee of the 2nd International Consensus Conference on Ultrasound in Trauma and Board Member of the 1st International Consensus Conference on Ultrasound in Medical Education. He is Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), Member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and Member of the Board of Directors of the World Interactive Network Focused on Critical Ultrasound (WINFOCUS).
