B.D. Ramsey is the author and who the book is based on. He looked different even from his own family and had to find comfort in his different appearance. Mr. Ramsey hopes to inspire children that may also be a little different and teach them to always be themselves. Mr. Ramsey has two Master's degrees and one daughter who he has dedicated this book to so that she may always feel comfortable in her own skin.
