This is a black and white photo album about the Carynskie Valley which is located in the Bieszczady Mountains in Poland. There in housed a village. Its inhabitants were forcibly displaced in 1946 to the USSR. Currently, only a few people live in it.The album presents raw Bieszczady nature at the beginning of winter. There are no more leaves on the trees, there is the first snow. There are hardly any tourists at this time of year. It is empty, quiet and peaceful. This is a simplified version of the book compared to the printed version.
